THIRSK REPAIR CAFE TURNS 1,000! 

1 August 2026. Today Thirsk Repair Café completed its 1,000th repair. Regular TRC customer Anna brought in a pair of old pinking shears that she first used when she started making all all her own dresses over 70 years ago! Now restored to their former glory by TRC's tool repair and sharpening maestro, Mike. Anna: "My first husband was very lucky to have me!"
